With Rodney i came home from work and heard scratching under the big chair in the lounge. I looked underneath the chair and thought, i know these little white legs and called Rodney. He came to me and i put him back then checked his cage and realized that he had managed to push the closed top door enough to get out. I think he slept inside the chair.

It’s great to read they didn’t venture far, they must’ve known their homes were nearby. So lovely you were able to pick them up and simply pop them back home, you’ve such a great bond with them all.
Yes, I find that sometimes with Hams after a while he’s just happy to be back in the comfort and shelter of his home where he feels cosy and secure.
