Welp, I think I can trust Cupcake as well now. She still got up at her normal time and hopped on my hand for a short bit. I love it, she was still a bit grumpy but we're still on okay terms.
I did sit a bit and watch her on her wheel. At one point she just stopped and gave me that "you're still here?!" look. I haven't seen that in a while
She also still paws at the knob on the wheel regularly, but loves the thing.
Cupcake also showed how clever hamsters can be, her wheel started to rub against the bin and I was going to go fix it. She hopped off and nibbled the stand, then pushed it a bit with her nose. It helped a bit, I adjusted it more for her. So smart though!
