I observed Clive's poops for a couple of weeks now and cut out the leafy greens which got him back to normal. I also checked his cage while he was out and didn't find any abnormal poops.
So he's back to running around allover the place and a happy hamster again. He hated the restriction of "only" being allowed in the hall and bathroom. Kept digging the carpet at the barrier, climbed up me when i sat on the floor to keep an eye on a hamster each side of the devider, trying to jump over it from my shoulder. At one point he tried to climb up to the top of my head!
I let him race around last night in the whole space until he had tired himself out. He came to me when i called him to get lifted back into his cage.
