I've cleaned the tubes with a bottle brush before but felt that the one he uses a lot needed a proper soak and scrub.
I tried to take it out while he was underground but his nosy little face appeared almost instantly.
I had the clean replacement tube ready to go in while he sat on a shelf watching!
