Default Re: Senior hamsters

Rodney had a senior moment just now.

He came out in the middle of the afternoon and walked all around his cage. He went through tunnels including the clay one i don't normally see him in, he looked into hides and his food bowl, even started digging in his substrate and he's not a burrower, more of a height loving climber. Then he came over to me chirping and kept chirping while looking around his cage.
I was convinced that he was bothered by the heat and looking for something cool so gave him some chilled baby food which he ate. Once finished he chirped again.

And then he went into a corner and came back carrying his new hamster biscuit! He went back in his house and closed the door behind him.

Rodney must have suddenly remembered that he had been given a new biscuit last night but couldn't remember where he had put it!

No wonder he searched everywhere and started to chirp in frustration.
