Thank you for giving me your perspective. I am relieved not to have knocked Orko's confidence. I am happy for him to be a watch only hamster but if he was able to take food from me that that would be lovely. I was worried he would loose his trust in me if I carried on.
I usually just have my hand flat in his cage for him to check it out in his own time. This is the first time I have put it close to him which is why I thought I may have done the wrong thing.
I have all the patience and time in the world for Orko so I am happy to carry on offering my hand.
