I think Clive suits the wide running surface so i'll give it a go. The other option i'm considering is the wide 12in Silent Runner but need to find out how the width compares to the Orbital's width.

My theory is that a wider surface distributes the impact of a clonky runner better than a normal surface. Only a theory as i really do not know if that is the case.

The normal 12in Silent Runner is very bouncy and could end up more like a trampoline with Clive on it.
