Do you have anything ceramic in the cage? I had a ceramic salt pig type hide and our hamster used to go and sit in that when it was warm weather - rather than in his nest. Also used a terracotta plate under the water bottle and they'd go and sit on that. If you don't have anything ceramic you can just use a mug. I used to use two and rotate them in the fridge as Cloudy says. So put one in the cage that's been in the fridge, then put a second one in the fridge and swap the mugs over before you go to bed. So there's always one in the fridge.

Some people put a bag of frozen peas on top of the cage as well. During the day just open windows a bit so it cools things a bit (not too draughty obviously) or a fan even - but not right next to the cage.
