A very good way to recycle awful small cages

I guess I could write to savic again and ask them to make a two tier Plaza (similar to the Carlos!). I wrote to them years back asking them to make a 100cm hamster heaven and they were very helpful and pleasant and wrote back saying they had been considering this and would keep me updated and asked me various questions about what I thought the cage needed, height etc. Of course it's not quite a 100cm hamster heaven! But they did say it would be similar to the Zeno rat cage.

Now technically the Zeno 3 with a full level would be the equivalent of a Carlos. It's 116cm tall so one level would be higher than 50 cm but that wouldn't matter as they couldn't climb the roof on the lower level as it would be solid and not bars.

I might consider that. A Zeno 3 with a full level. Not quite what I had in mind though.
