Apologies from me too - not sure how your post got missed. As it was over 3 weeks ago now, what happened? Did you see the vet?

From the photos I can't tell which toe but it seems almost like his foot looks red and swollen. Is his other foot ok? Sometimes a vet will give antibiotics if they think it's infected. Depending on how hot and swollen it is. Sometimes these things, if minimal, right themselves (or you can bathe it in thyme tea which has antiseptic properties).
