I found a winter white up for adoption in my area, and just couldn't go any longer without a little hammy in my life. I'd like you all to meet Cupcake! She's small and sweet, hence the name.
Her set up is almost identical to how I had late little Pearl's bin, but with extra nesting boxes and some tunnels under the substrate. She's absolutely loving the sand bath, and prefers the space under it for her home burrow.
She seems to have been well taken care of, and is already pretty confident. I've seen her looking for me a few times in the corner, and she's already taking treats when held out of my fingers. Plus trying to climb up my arm sometimes
I think I'm going to upgrade to a Detolf when I can for her sometime late next month, I'd love to give her more room than the 675 square inch bin.
