Wheel has just been plastikoted and waiting for it to fully dry. The good news, Engel, is that wood centre piece can be screwed off completely - so then it’s safe for rat tails
. The running depth is approx 8.25cm. Is that deep enough for a rat wheel?
Only thing is I am not entirely sure the 31cm wheel will fit in the plaza cage, attached to the bars. The bar height up to the top edge strip is about 32cm. So it might catch on the base at the bottom. I’ll see what happens when I put it in. Waiting to put the house and wheel in at the same time to minimise upheaval.
