My dwarf Gertie who is a pedigree winter white has nails like that and so did dwarfs before her who were hybrids. I just keep trimming them as and when needed.

I don't think it's down to any kind of health condition and doesn't appear to affect the teeth. I sometimes rescue Robos and had to trim some Robo's nails as well.

Not so much Syrians until they get old and the nails can get long then but long nails seem to be more common in dwarfs.

I also have lots of things like wood, cork, terracotta etc in their cages but doesn't seem to make any difference.
