One thing I do like about the rodipet wheel over the karlie/trixie wood wheels is - there is no lip at the front - it's completely level. Doesn't really matter but works well for an old hamster when the wheel needs to be at substrate level and easy for them to get in and out of.

The trixie plastic wheel is not good for old hamsters - there was a case on here of a hamster getting a leg caught trying to get out of it when older and having a leg injury. It has quite a high exit point. Silent runner was ok for that though.
