Default Re: What type of coloured dwarf hamster is this, or is this a genetic disorder?

I am not that up on hamster colours. Most dwarf hamsters are hybrids of Russian Campbells and Winter Whites, so they could have markings of either type, or they could look like one or the other (but still have genes from both). It's rare to find a pure bred pedigree winter white or campbells, unless you get them from a breeder who knows the genetic history. I am guessing that there are various colour mutations with hybrid dwarf hamsters. Yours seems to have quite a bit of winter white And rather cute looking. Even pure Winter whites, their colour changes as they get older.

The only main thing to be aware of with hybrid dwarf hamsters is they are prone to diabetes so need a sugar free diet to try and help avoid that happening.
