Hi Ria, thanks so much for your reply. This helped me. I thought that the forage would be fine left in the cage. Fluffy likes to dig there sometimes too.

Fluffy hasn't chewed the fennel and caraway sticks but he has moved them (so I'm guessing he was playing with them?) I'm just wondering. Maybe he doesn't like them much either. I got them in the Hopes he would chew them.

Can I ask what are your hamster's favourite food, do you think?
