Re: Foster hamsters
I had a foster Robo who "played dead" when i held him. He would be quite still when i checked him over and then slowly close his eyes.
They get semi used to handling when handled regurlarly but they never seem to lose their instant reaction to run away.
I was able to scoop our late Robo Monty up with my hands and had planned to work on that with our Robo Scottie but made a mistake with his set up by adding interior tubes. He loves them and often sits in one watching, eating, washing and nodding off so i can't remove them now.
Aside from their personality, i think their set up also makes a difference to how tame they become.
I know that they exist but i've never met a Robo who would come to his door and ask for out of cage time like our Syrians and Winter White dwarf do.
