It's got to be done and that's just it.
I'd advise the same as Lilafernim and spot clean the damp bedding out when she's awake. Hamsters usually keep a hoard near or under their nests which has to be removed or part of it, if it's damp and pee'd on. If not, i'd leave the hoard.
Should you have to remove the hoard, make sure you put a little fresh mix down in the same spot so she won't feel robbed.
Hamsters react differently to their human cleaners, some aren't that bothered and some throw tantrums. However Pearl's going to react, keep in mind that she'll soon get over it. Hamsters don't bear grudges and she'll still love you.
