I can't remember if you've had a hamster before or not
If it's a first hamster, personally I would go for a Syrian - I find there's much more interaction. Although dwarf hamster owners may disagree! A robo as a first pet can be tricky as they are so notoriously difficult to handle and tame - or even get out of the cage!
