Nepter (or Neptr, as he's named from Adventure Time) is a Flesh Eared White hamster and was born on the 23/12/2021, making him 4 months old as of posting this. He is a little boy and I got him at the Southern Hamster Club during a show for £15.
Nepter has been a bit of an oddball since I got him. He lives in a DIY cage measuring 120cmx60cm. He will eat from my hand, but is otherwise very skittish. He initially would wake at about 10pm, however has since decided that minimising his contact with me is more ideal for him. He now wakes at about 4am and will go inactive/active throughout a three hour period.
He has bitten once whilst doing his first cage clean, and he did it hard enough to draw quite a bit of blood.
I will keep trying to tame him down, but I fear he may be one of them "ghost" hamsters. At least he'll look the part though, with his beautiful white coat!
