Thank you for linking that Ritz cage though - it's the first 100cm cage of 39cm height with narrow bar spacing I have seen available in the Uk before! The only downside to is the doors are very small. Which might be ok for some more gregarious hamsters. But means taking the whole top bars off for say, taking a wheel in and out - as opposed to using a large door instead. I found when I had to do that, the hamster could leap out sometimes!
