I've been giving my hamster a small quantity of Old Fashion Quaker Oats (also called rolled oats) with his Higgins mix most feedings. He seems to like it as it's all gone each morning.

Oats are great for the digestive system. Helped my last dog with his IBD for some 15 years of his life.

I've also found he enjoys carrots shreds, broccoli, organic lettuce, hazel nuts and a small piece of aged cheddar cheese and/or dried fig.

What are you folks using for treats?
