I got a big lidded food container and have the tubing leading into that now and is a big external sand bath which seems to be a hit with our furry friend.

Have also since decided to replace this cage with a diy bin cage. (though spent $120cdn on it just a few months ago and will be hard to resell as I chopped a big section of the plastic tray out lol ah well..)
I wanted to make an ikea based cage but lack the power cutting tools needed to do it right, plus I think a bin will be easier to manage overall though not very nice looking. Also will be easier to access and interact with robo where existing cage makes that difficult. Unfortunately cages whether new or used seem very pricey here and limited options. Planning to use a 110L clear tote
Will post some pics once its made. Figure will be deep bedding on one side and wheel and sand bath on the other end with toys etc in between. Will need to look into options like branches, moss etc that will be safe and make it more natural.
