. Yes it's confusing when there are so many conflicting things on the internet. And there are many that say red light is better than any other coloured light. It would be nice to see some comparisons between red light and complete darkness over night. I think it's difficult to know for us what goes on inside them over and above just behaviour. I'm glad your hammy didn't seem affected by the red light at that time in the evening.
