Re: Excess sealant on wood
Did you buy this new or used?
I see nothing in the image or the description on the sellers side that suggests they require the use of a sealant. That's why I wonder if it was used or returned.
Send it back for a "clean" new one. If a bit of sand leaks out..... so what. Yon can also cover the bottom with some brown craft paper (paper bag) if that becomes necessary.
If you cannot do that, I'd use a sander to remove what I could not cut off with a razor.
