I got a one year old dwarf female about a month ago. She is tame and came fully potty trained. She peed in her sandbox in the corner and she never peed in her nest or any other place. Now, the last week, i found urine both in her old house, the wheel, and her new favourite hideout (a cardboard box). There has been nothing in the sand toilet in the corner. Instead she bathes in the sand (cat sand). She also has a bowl of chinchilla sand which she never seems to be using. I was so pleased that she was potty trained. What to do? I have not had an entire cage clean yet, but these changes occured around the time I added some new Uber bedding, mixing it with the old bedding. I also just found that she has moved sand from the toilet to her hideout.
