It depends on the genetics, and genetics can be kinda complicated. If the parents both come from long lines of silvery grey hamsters then their litter will likely also be silvery grey.. Even if they both come from grey lines theres still a decent chance they wouldn't look the exact same- genes that cause diluted colours or more intense markings could pop up for example. They would definitely look similar though.

However if the parents come from just a random or unknown line then theres really no telling what they'll look like. It's like how sometimes a human child is born and has traits and features of their grandparents or even great grandparents that the actual parents don't have.

Basically it all depends on what genes each parent carries- not necessarily what genes are visually obvious. For example you could have a black syrian hamster and be able to tell okay clearly the gene that causes the dark fur is present. You may not be able to tell that the same hamster also carries the gene that causes the dapple pattern or the satin look.
