If the vet said come back in three weeks, they normally say to make sure the animal has no long term issues from an event, so if the bugs were sucking his blood they may just want to check his skin, fur any soreness and weight just to make sure he’s recovering. If you’ve got your vets phone number though they normally write on the system their reasons so you can always ask them to double check.

Super happy, fingers crossed those pesky bugs don’t return! 🤞🐹
I actually got him a new (even wider) cage today and bunch of new toys and finally a sand bath (which he hasn't used yet. He just ate, built a new nest, ate again and went to sleep). I hope he's happier now. I want to give him a happy life. Today I was in a pet store and the hamsters there really, honestly didn't even have a wheel. Just some bedding and water and food. Whatever the situation is I am sure he's happier with me than he would be at the store I really do love him and I hope he's happy.
My only concern about the new cage is that there are wide spaces between the bars and I hope he won't be able to escape. He has never even tried to escape. I hope the new toys don't have any bugs or anything like that.

I'd have to ask my friend, since I don't speak the language. I do hope he's happy though.
Thank you so much for your support.
