Hi! I'm new and I came here to learn about hamsters. Currently, my mum got me a hamster for my birthday and I want to give it a good life since my parents know very little about hamsters.
I'm currently still using the cage my mother got the hamster in witch is a 660 sq inch cage although I can't add as much bedding due to it having very little space to fill out the bedding I got for them.
Although, I added an area where it fits 5 inches of bedding I still don't think it's enough for the hamster and I really want to give them everything they need.
The wheel is attached to the cage and it's a wire wheel making it dangerous... I added cardboard on the inside to make sure the wires are covered.
Any help is appreciated!
