I’ve been slowly replacing my ham’s bedding in the hope of creating something a bit more stable when he burrows, but it’s not really working.

I mixed Carefresh paper bedding, aspen shavings and a little bit of hay. I’d guess the proportions are about 65% paper, 30% aspen and 5% hay.

Any ideas on a mix that’s more stable? I have lots of Carefresh (it was on offer) so I want to use that up.
