Probably easier to get hold of runny honey Then if you do have to give it in a syringe he may just lick it up if the honey is mixed with it in the syringe. I think you draw up the Baytril first, then a tiny bit of honey. Check the dosage as well. People can often get confused about that and the syringe markings. They should give you a 1ml syringe which has 10 big markings on and 10 little markings for each of the big markings. So 1 (10 little markings) is 0.1ml 2 is 0.2ml and so on. But the little markings are 0.01. 0.02.

I would think the dose would be about 0.2 or 0.3 but depends on the weight of the hamster. The vet will have worked it out and put the dose on the box. Is the other med metacam? (AKA Loxicom). That's for pain relief and an anti inflammatory.
