Pickle is doing really well - for a hamster who will be two next month! He is still quite active and fit and healthy. Strangely not all of his fur has grown back where it was shaved off. Some has and some hasn't so there are odd tufts and bald patches. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the lack of a scent gland there. Maybe it'll grow back eventually.

He can still climb up the sofa.

He has just been on holiday with us for a week. Decided to take him and the travel cage with us as not possible to have a pet sitter come to the house at the moment as we're still semi shielding (and no-one available).

As expected he took to it fine. And has settled again now we're back home. He is the least stressy hamster I've ever had.
