I'm so sorry to hear this.

As long as your hamster is not suffering i would let nature take its course.

All of my hamsters died in the comfort of their familiar surroundings with me or my OH by their side but i would have taken them to the vet at the slightest suspicion of pain or suffering.

Only you can tell what's best for your hamster and i'm sure that you are going to make the right decision.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult and sad time.
