Mania started to feel the heat a couple of nights and lay on her ceramic hides. I felt totally powerless seeing all my guys getting warm. They're all ok though but I had to keep a close eye on them all.

I hope that's the summer over and done with now.
The one i was most worried about was the one that didn't seem affected at all, Rory. He won't leave his house during the day and i thought he must be roasting in this heat. I took his roof off in desperation and replaced it with a half wood half bendy bridge roof to give his house some ventilation. Luckily, he's so laid back and lazy that he stayed in his nest watching while i gave him a sunroof.
All the others had more sense and moved into ceramic hides like Mania did.
