Default Re: Taming is a nightmare!

Hello! Pixie is a Syrian hamster

I had a suggestion to not tame in the enclosure, as the whole cage territorial thing, but it seems to be the best option. I got her out with a jug, put her in a bin cage with little open space and her bedding she has been in but she absolutely FREAKED out, tried to escape and it made me so stressed!

She has definitely been getting better! I'm going right from the start and she's fab with taking food from my fingers now, I used lettuce as you recommended! I'm making sure to offer her some food from my hand 1-2 times a night, as that's where it went downhill last time!

Pixie is definitely not ready for me to pet her wherever as she can still get nervous, but in her food bowl eating, she's relaxed and fine with it, thank you!

Thank you for the help!
