Maximus is loving his new home. He is such a joy to watch and interact with. He's well used to my hands by now, I can pet him loads when he's eating and he's curious, following my fingers around or coming over when I tap somewhere. I'm currently getting him used to using my palm as a bridge, working so so, but patience... haha.
I haven't seen him burrow much either, so I decided to add a tunnel and loosen up the bedding somewhat under the sandbath (on stilts) so he could explore underneath it. And he did! Soon as I had dug around he was down that tunnel. I listened to him messing around down there for a bit before re-emerging, actually digging his way back up just off the side of the tunnel.
