I’m new to keeping hammies so this is just a guess: maybe she finds the house intimidating, an enclosed space containing unknown threats? You could try leaving the lid off so that she can explore while knowing that she can quickly get out. Then maybe if she gets used to it and takes up residence you can consider putting the lid back on
