I know this thread old but I thought I'd add in what I did for Ghost (height loving Syrian) as he was in this cage for a while. I put cardboard against the bars to allow deeper bedding. This means the fall height is less. I think at one point I had 11 inch deep bedding all over. Plenty of shelves, tunnels, hammocks and other fall breakers. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it to show you but hopefully you know what I mean.
