I'm glad that Pickle is doing so well and thank you for the info.

If ever i need a hospital cage i'll make one. 64l rub but no meshed lid so no swinging off the ceiling. Two meshed windows and two meshed vents instead and fairly high up.....but would a hamster try to climb on the windows?

Hmm, maybe there is no such thing as an ideal hospital cage because hamsters are difficult patients.
