Baby hamsters to get startled easily by things unknown to us so hopefully she'll grow out of it.

One of my hamsters froze in the middle of my bed when he was a baby which worried me as well.

I believe that hamsters freeze when scared because they are prey animals and by not moving think that a predator won't see them.

To be honest, i don't know much about this behaviour but you could have a browse on the Forum under Behaviour to see if you can find any information or threads on this.

How is your hamster now?
