If the plaza is anything like the zeno(not a hamster cage but a rat cage by the same company), I'd imagine it's designed to be relatively lightweight - durable and made well, but they're not going to take being stacked directly on top of each other or having significant weight put on them unfortunately.
I personally think as long as these cages are used with caution they're still an excellent choice. I'd expect a lot of other cages on the market wouldn't handle being stacked directly on top of each other very well though, just probably not having such a serious and obvious result!
