I love the name Layla.

It could be that she doesn't know yet how to tunnel because many rescue hamsters never had the chance to. I had one that didn't even know what a wheel was for because he never had one.
I'm sure that she'll think her Hamster Heaven is Paradise and that she'll be very happy in there. And she has you as her human companion. Her life has just begun.
