Hi again,
I’ve been talking to my hamster and just letting her smell my hand from outside the cage. I’ve also put toilet paper in there with my scent on. However i’ve noticed that when i put my hand on the outside of the cage, she will come up to me, sniff me and try to bite me through the cage? She takes treats from my fingers through the bars though. I want to put my hand in there to see if she’ll take a treat from my hand in the cage but i’m scared she will bite me instead help!?
Update: I put my hand in and she took treats from my fingers!! I was barely holding the treats tho. After she sniffed around and still looked like she was trying to bite me through her bars? I put the hand up that i wasn’t touching the food with and she was still trying? Anyone know ?!
