hello,

it's always so hard to tell with new hamsters as they are still establishing new habits. For me, emptying the food bowl to store it somewhere is a perfectly natural habit for a hamster. The water I really can't tell. I think, if your hamster is active, on her wheel, etc I wouldn't worry too much. Check the water consumption, as I believe unusual drinking can be a sign of diabetes, to which many dawrf hamsters are prone. If your hamster seems unwell and is not active, I would consider a vet visit.
