Yesterday one of my hamsters (Black Bear Hamster I think?) escaped and descided to hide under a wardrobe (there is a small gap underneath it) . While me and my dad were preparing some treats to lure him out , my mom thought it was a good idea to poke it with a mop (she hates hamsters,mice etc) . I ran to stop her and when the hamster came out it had blood on it's eye
. We gently wiped it off and put him in his cage . Now he's teriffied every time I try to get close to him , give him some carrot etc . He screams , hits the food I give him and stuff like that . What do I do to calm him down/make him trust me again ?
