Hi! so I just registered today because I had some questions about my hamster and the stuff she does. She is a female Syrian and I haven't had her for too long maybe about 2 months. On one of her cages is an enclosed wheel on the top and it doesn't have much ventilation (at least that's how I see it. I am trying to get her a new wheel but can only find wire ones at my local pet store) anyways she has been sleeping it, bringing her food to it, peeing and pooping it. and I don't feel like it's very sanitary, she pees on her food and then sleeps on it and eats it. Can she get sick? How do I get her to nest somewhere else?
