I'm gonna build a structure that I plan to keep in her home permanently. I bought these craft sticks.

Go Create Natural Wood Craft Sticks, 1000 Count, Natural Wood - Walmart.com - Walmart.com

I found out that they're made of pine. This made me nervous but from what I've read they should be safe.

I also plan to use just basic kids Elmer's glue. I was thinking about doing a coat of Elmer's glue over the wood to help protect it a little.

Does this all sound okay? Any tips?
