I honestly feel it is a female thing. Mine have all tried to get under doorways or fixate on a certain spot to try and escepe through. My male syrian is not like that at all. I wouldnt worry so much about it. As long as she doesnt chew it, you could try putting a fleece blanket there for her to try and tunnel around in. That used to keep my females entertained and out of trouble for a few mins.
