I think you're going a bit too fast with the taming process. Spend more time just near the cage, speaking, let your hand in the cage for spot cleaning and to give treats. When your little one relaxes (and you'll probably need a few more weeks), you can try to have him pick a treat in a jar/carrier and take him in the empty, shut bathtub with toys. If you sit there with him he'll run around and get used to your smell. Victoria Raechel has a great video on youtube about how she tamed her robo. Good luck!
