With my sweet little Chiclet gone for over a year now, I am hoping/planning to adopt a new hamster. Does anyone know of and/or can recommend a Syrian breeder in New England? I live in Massachusetts (Boston area), but am willing to drive a distance, as long as I could make it there and back in one day, and of course not wanting to subject the hamster to the stress of an overly long ride.
I'm also investigating online, but it's turning out to be not as straightforward as I had hoped, especially with some Web pages appearing to be many years out of date or not identifying their general location.
A few of you on this forum sounds like wonderful breeders -- if only I lived in Great Britain!
